Winter Park, 15th February 2017

I spent a few hours in Winter Park a rather smart town just north of Orlando. I went there to visit the Morse Museum, which is dedicated to the works of Tiffany. But more of that later.
Winter Park was built by a series of lakes and is seriously wealthy, with bijoux shops and cafés and a number of large mansions. The streets are fringed with trees, often laden with Spanish moss.  The small park itself is rather disappointing with a couple of rather uninteresting urban fountains. Access to the lake is difficult as most of these residences run down to the water, but there were a couple of places where you can get glimpses of it. Anne said it would be interesting to photograph the area, so I did.
