Tate Modern, Georgia O'Keeffe exhibition
A couple of days ago I went into London to visit the Tate Modern and see the Georgia O'Keeffe exhibition. I haven't seen the Tate since the new Switch House extension has been open and I was very impressed with the building, which looks like an Aztec temple, and goes very well with the original turbine hall. I was also pleased that the tanks area has been reopened as this is an interesting space with lots of photographic possibilities. I meant to 'do' the exhibition and then move on to another area of London, but I ended up being there for so long there was not time for anything else. The O'Keeffe exhibition was fantastic. It was arranged more or less chronologically and beside her work also contained a large number of Stieglitz photographs and a few Ansel Adams ones, including a smallish print of Moonrise over Hernandez.
