While we were in Aberystwyth I had picked up some leaflets on walks from the tourist information shop. One of them was based in Aberaeron so we stopped there on the way down to Pembrokeshire which was our next destination. This was the pointless walk of the holiday. It was about 4 miles long and started over some fairly boring countryside, where the only excitement was a farmer who had to move a field of cows and a bull to allow us to cross the footpath. I did photograph some sheep and a mushroom. The exiting cows were too confusing to do anything with. The way went back to the carpark along the coast where there was an absolutely horrendous house which had been built in a really sensitive place. It even had a plastic horse in the garden. Getting out of Aberaeron we went to Cilgerran castle on the river Teifi. this is one of those castles which was batted backwards and forwards between the Welsh and the English.
