Hey hey USA - 16th October - we drive into cloud on Emory Pass

The last stop of the day was to be Emory Pass, a high spot in the Black Range Mountains at nearly 9,000ft and on the Continental Divide. We were hoping for good views from the top but rain had started again and we drove into low cloud. By the time we got to the pass the visibility was almost zero and there was one other car in the car park, it's occupants staring hopefully into the mist. Here we retraced our steps and drove home, this time using Interstate 25 to get back faster for yet another late dinner!
