Montecordova Workshop, Monday

I was very excited to be visiting the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Serralves Foundation, so early on in the workshop. This art museum, on the edge of Porto, is set within acres of parkland and gardens with large-scale art  installations and also a beautiful art deco house. The Museum is a large white modern building which is a delight to photograph in itself.
They have a programme of temporary exhibitions and this time the figured artist was Olafur Eliasson whose large scale birch coppice, lit in vivid orange, was on display in the foyer.
Taking pictures of other people's art is always a conundrum, so I often use multiple exposure in order to change the works into something else.
So here are some pictures taken in the museum and grounds.
