Workshop at Blubberhouses, Yorkshire

Last May I went on a daylong workshop set near Blubberhouses in Yorkshire. It was run by Lizzie Shepherd and I have participated in a further workshop with her since.
Lizzie had chosen two locations. The first was Fewston Reservoir, where the spring leaves were fresh and green, fringing the water. The second was another pool but this time more secluded, being a vigorous walk from the car up to Guisecliff wood. Our mission was to try and make some compositional sense of the tangles of branches and foliage.

Here are some pictures from Fewston

And here from Guisecliff.
