Hey hey USA - 27th October - Echo Amphitheatre

The last thing we did that day was to drive up Highway 84, again, and visit Echo Amphitheatre. This is a natural cliff face which is formed in such a way that it will produce an echo.

There was more snow around as we went higher and it was clinging to the vegetation. Much fun was had hearing the sound of our own voices coming back to us. Luckily there was no one else around.

Highway 84 is incredibly scenic and I was forced to stop to take some pictures.

While we were there the weather rolled back in again.

Driving back proved to be a little difficult although there were some wonderful clouds.

Pedernal looked very glum but by the time we had got back to the scenic overlook the weather had almost cleared again.
