Cairngorm - first evening

A couple of weeks ago I went on a workshop run by Doug Chinnery, with around 10 others to an isolated spot near Cairngorm. We were hoping for ice and frost but only saw snow on the top of Cairngorm where people were attempting to ski. We stayed in lovely accommodation with a large lounge where we could relax in the evening and good food was provided by a rather sulky lady who 'did'.
There were four small lochs in walking distance of here, one of which is named as Uath Lochan, where we went on the first evening - no sunset unfortunately.

  1. I particularly like your third image here Sue. Colours are lovely and remind me of the subtle colours in Harris tweed which in turn reminds me of windswept days on Lewis!!. How did you take and process the photo please?

    1. I took the picture with some intentional camera movement and processed it normally with Lightroom except that I used more clarity than usual
